Update:
Openfiler does NOT support Persistent Reservations (which is required for 2008 R2 failover clustering), Optional idea. linux-iscsi.org does support Persistent Reservations, so back to the drawing board. http://linux-iscsi.org/index.php/Persistent_Reservations
